To be honest, I haven't thought that far ahead... depends how organised I am beforehand / on the day.

Na - turn your google maps to 'avoid motorways' and go via Egham, Old Windsor, Henley, swinford toll bridge (5p), Swinbrook cc.

  4. That’s the way to do it

From the south, we just go up the A34, and turn left when we think we will go an interesting way into the Cotswolds. Or just wander up the old A roads from the coast to the Cotswolds. None of this getting trapped in the overcrowded overpriced stink.

Salisbury, Marlborough, Swindon for me.... it's mostly Wiltshire, and they don't really believe in motorways in Wiltshire!

From the north we go down the A34 it’s much nicer than the M6/5/40

  9. Oooo Swindon, I've got a mate who lives in Swindon. He's a rear gunner on a milkfloat.

He says he lives in the nice bit, What Oxford.

Time was when I plotted to link this up to my Birthday as we're relatively near, but don't feel "eligible" now that we're not in a Bay .... BUT! given where we are, if anyone is either sort-of-kind-of getting there via here and needs a pit stop, or wanting any of those spares that I'm trying to shift for the charity, then here's a map, and non motorway route.

You just want more choc brownies :p
I might, particularly if there are parts to "deliver" but you'd have to promise not to start name calling ( @Merlin Cat has deployed "White van man" already  ... although I guess one has to make allowances ... I mean give preferential treatment :))
The last TE I went to ... to deliver parts and have a pick and mix "stall", I found myself respectfully parking a little way off in order to not destroy the classic vibe :D
Maybe the future-classic i3 would be best!

  15. People turn up in tents, T5 etc, I don’t really care, you are on here so that’s good enough
