The bank phoned on Dec 23rd afternoon to say they are pulling in £4K of overdrafts and they'd like the money immediately or we'd both get bad credit ref. Happy Xmas to you as well. Their excuse for immaculate timing? - "It's just another working day for us". They got a gob full and I got 7 days grace. Guess who has to sort it out. :

actually zed i think they are breaking the law if the bank do that they have a duty of care to you which they must also honor see the consumer forums or ill pm ya later i had mine over the coals you have to dispute that now so they cant sell it to a third party while you hatch a cunning plan ill help ...mine paid me 4.5k back 5 years ago

Hmm - they've been biding their time looking back. Mrs Ex (thicko) told them we were splitting 3 months ago and they immediately jumped on her asking for signed letters stating exactly what we intended to do with house, OD's, Joint acc's etc. I went it, bollocked them and told them to mind their own business. They agreed at the time they were out of order because if she hadn't told them, they'd have been none the wiser.Hmm gotta be exactly 3 months... Must be a legal reason for that.

Anyway it's just stuff. Luckily for me I'm resourceful.
