Hi all. As the title suggests, I'm looking at buying a compressor for spraying. It needs to be a 2.5hp or larger and if necessary, I can do 16amp supply. I'm based just outside the M25, SW of London. Cheers.
Ive got a old version of this , https://www.amazon.co.uk/Wolf-Dakot...locphy=1007040&hvtargid=pla-698896475898&th=1 probably had it 8 or 9 years. Does what Ive needed it to do, sprayed my van, Did another panel at a time, i find it easier as I am no pro trust me.
I used a Wolfair for years, a 50 ltr tank and twin cylinder will probably be adequate for what you’re doing and quite portable! Try SGS Engineering.
Just spent 3 days flatting back some panels on my boat ( fibre glass) by hand . Seems that cfm is important , what at 50 litre should I need cfm to be to drive a dual action sander/ random orbital sander…….and which sander would be best , simply to flat back before polish ? Thanks
Quite a lot to run tool’s especially DA sander hence I prefer an electric one, easier on the arms than dragging an air line with it and easier to set to different speeds. I just use the compressor for painting, pumping tyres and windy gun!
