Hi, does anyone have some bunks to fit in the pop top of a Devon? I also need all the attachment brackets/links necessary to fit them in as the previous owner of my van removed the lot during her resto and got rid of them as they were rotten, cheers.
If no ones got any, has anybody got any suggestions for best place to get some? I've seen bunks for sale on JK but the brackets they show for fitting look basic compaired to the long hinge affairs I've seen in peoples pics for other Devon's, any advice is welcome, thanks.
I have a pair being removed from a dormobile if they are any use? Will need recovering but solid and all fixings, £50 Cheers Gav
Hi, what sort of Devon bunks do you need, I have a pair of bunks with the fixings that need recovering and one of the bunks is missing a hinge but sure one could be made. I bought them off eBay but they were the wrong sort, still learning lol Cheers
Thanks for that, didn't realise they could vary, will need to measure up to make sure things will fit. I'll put measurements up once I can and if things look good please let me know after that, cheers for the replies.
From what I have seen on devon's I've had in, you've got the 2 roof types but they both use the same beds. The ones I have seen are tapered with 2 hinges either side and 2 brackets that huck onto the brackets ounted to the body. The canvas is secured to the bodywork by a long bar which is riveted on. Hope this helps you find the right ones. Scott.

Yeah those ones in the pics are the types I had seen in other vans and thought would be the ones I would need, the ones JK show as part of their kits are just a small half circle that would fit up directly to frame and not hang down a few inches like pics.
