  1. Looking for a cabinet like the one pictured or some details to make a copy.

  2. I just put a cooker unit on ebay that's from a Devon...

    :)

  3. Thanks for the reply Andy. Not really the style of unit I'm after (I really want one like that in the photo) and I already have the cooker - well it's on its way. I would be interested in know the dimensions of the cabinet though (hxwxd).

  4. Dave,
We have the exact cooker in our "Sportsmobile" but it's on the other side of the van cause we drive "the other way around". Can try for some pic.'s and measurements if you're still looking.

  5. Thanks Midmusq, that would be really helpful.

  7. Let's start with the easy stuff first. The cooker cupboard is 21 inches across, 25 inches high and 14.5 inches deep. (sorry for the inch measure but can't find my meter tape). The cooker door is 19 .25 in. x 7. 5 in. (on top)
The fork drawer is 7.5 x 3.25 ( second down to left)
The large door is 9.75 x 15.5 (on the right)

Both the fork drawer and the large door on the right can open up and the cooker door lays down on the top of them for added support, making a small counter to set the tea pot etc. on before you heat it.

I'll try to load some pic's of our Van later.

What else to you need measurements of for that ?

  8. Thanks for that Midmusq. The dimensions you've given and just what I need at the moment. I'm expecting the Fellows cooker I bought on eBay to arrive on Thursday and will be ready to start serious planning then.

  9. Just a note , the top you see on the cooker, is held in place at the back with a aluminum track, and two small plastic pins in the front corners. It can be removed when sliding the cooker out the door and slid back in place behind the cooker to make a shelf "inside" the van. On the lower back corner ours has a small brass latch pin that sticks in a hole in the floor, when the cooker is in and back down again once the cooker is rolled out as well, to keep it out levle with the door opening.

  11. Just joined thelatebay, and am looking for exactly the same unit (and Fellows hob & grill to go inside it) that Ageinggroover David is. David, if you happen to find two let me know! I'm in Northern Ireland, so collecting one is rather difficult, but I'm sure if one is out there I could get it here somehow.

  12. Oh, should have added that I'm also looking for the reversible seat that should sit behind the driver in an early ('72) Devon Moonraker conversion...

  13. Sorry about that , I thought about that after I was away from the computer. the thickness of sides and draw and door fronts are 3/4 inch. Same for the top and dividers in the cabinet. In my cooker I use small green propane bottles for everything and it is "buckled to one corner under the cooker behind the larger door.

    Hope this helps.

Must go, taking off camping for the long weekend with some friends and the van's not finished packed, (I've left it, but it just will not do it by itself!!!!)
