I think the reason for locking was that it had gone legal
Why would that make any difference ,your allowed to discuss legal matters?
He's not a jury member on a case.

yes but as an open forum TLB can be sued for 'naming' and allowing people to add comments - long story and let's not go into the in's and out's of it all ....

Usually matters that are part of an ongoing legal matter are not supposed to be discussed because they are sub judice.

Yeah but nothing happened :
I got threatened from the same person and when I advised them that all I was doing was stating my own experience there was nothing they could do.
How about trip advisor then - why cant hotels sue them?

Look for the disclaimers on the Tripadvisor website. Opinions left by users on websites are generally not actionable as long as they are not defamatory, for example, subject to the ruling in Godfrey v Demon Internet, which has resulted in ISPs taking down a lot of stuff from websites as a result of someone complaining about it.

In fairness to the owner of the van, the consensus is yes the guy still has the van and its being worked on..which is positive.
