Loads of earlies have late front panels as these are all thats available without a fair amount of cutting and welding.
    Seems worth a look.

  4. Think I'd like to see what lies under that sloppy coat of paint either side of the tinware. Just in case its hiding filler where the body panel sits over the chassis member, a lovely trap between them for rot through both into the body panel above and the chassis rail below. Interesting wiring in the front of the cab otherwise as they say it has potential.

The tinware foam sealing strip stops short either side of the engine....

  5. Cheers all
I will inform him that it might be worth a look.
Typically all the way in Devon ::)
Mine was located in Barnstable though and the time I got there it was raining and dark.
He cant do any worse than me I guess :)

  6. It looks to have had the upper and lower panels changed not sure about the middle though, it seems anyone who would go to the trouble of flushing the raised center badge would have not joined the lower part with the seam (it should be flat, theres no deformation bulge on a 72) and it would have origianlly had low indicators.

Still, worth a look but check out the underside with fine toothed pokey thing :)

What about one of jokers buses and then get a big roof?
