They can turn the key then, it saves dabbing wires. You said you were turning the distributor looking for the sweet spot which is the only reason I suggested another way of timing it. Whether that's the issue or not IDK but having the timing correct is something you can then discount if it still won't start.
Ah, well he does know how to turn the key...although it's push a button on ours, as a previous owner thought a push starter conversion would be cool Thanks for the advice.
More likely it was easier than changing the ignition switch! Knowing this, perhaps that ignition switch problem has broadened to include the run position.

I would still chuck the accuspark they are very unreliable. Invest in a 123 for peace of mind. Or at least a pertronics 1.
