    Had a quick measure up of an used crankcase over the weekend, which I'll continue with.

    No 2 main bearing is marked "U 0.5 Std". What order are these in? Does appear crank has been ground down 0.5mm on the mains.

  2. all depends on who's selling them :lol:

    Normally it goes: crank/case/thrust

    Have you got some verniers to measure the case and crank? always best to measure these things :thumbsup:

    most new ones seem to be printed on as opposed to stamped
     
  5. Re a thrust cut - I assume any fly-cutting would be visible on the front face of no 1 (I assume they only shave the flywheel side?)

    On the case I've got, the case web for no 1 is 22mm wide, with a bevel round the edges. Assume this means it hasn't been touched?
