  1. My understanding was in wales a holiday let had to be actually let for 182(?) days in the year to qualify for business rates or the new levy would apply. With a non primary residence then the levy applies. I haven’t read the policy in detail as it doesn’t apply to us but I’m sure you will check it out as part of the process.
     
  2. At the moment it's set to 100% of the full council tax charge, which, if you are rich enough to have a second home, is fair enough. 300% is a bit steep, so will have to check that out, or buy something on the English side of Hay on Wye.

  4. Ended up with too many again.

    My garage was like working in Arkwright's shop, taking them out and lining them up everytime I needed something from the back of the garage, then putting them all away again at night.
