Thanks to @philntfc for his help with the installation of my poptop struts. The roof goes up so much easier now. Lots of help and advice from others and a final thinks to @pgtips for sourcing the struts for me....in March 2022!
Got home in a little over 2 hours so happy days! Thanks for another brilliant weekend all. Sorry I had to leave early!
I was probably back home before most of you surfaced today! Great to catch up again, last one must have been at least five years ago. Spent two nights freezing in a van with no interior, sleeping on an airbed - a third night was not an option. Hope to catch up again for Keith's Field later in the summer. Special thanks goes to @Baysearcher for hosting the inaugural Fire Table event, although being a shortarse, I now have a singed forehead......
Just back from a great couple of days. Thank you so much to all those who took sympathy on my bus and helped out, especially @mikedjames! The tuning carbs masterclass turned into a let's fix another thing that Marzydj has broke. The replacing of the manifold boots, and the tuning, have made a huge difference!
Sorry I missed you Marzy, I somehow managed to miss the carb tuning session... But I'm hoping I have found my hot start problem. My electronic ignition module had melted! ... Started fine from cold. I had a spare so I've fitted that, fingers crossed that's done the trick.
Back home so I can sort out my camper and PopTopKitchen tomorrow ready for Stanford hall next week. Doka performed beautifully and the new "roof" tent worked well, incorrect bedding did cause a rather chilly night but that's a me problem. Got front brake pads changed, diff lock now works and diesel fuel tank installed for eberspacher, and connected VSR up for the second battery. Most TechEndering at TechEnders I have done for a while. ..just from TE..sorry for not saying bye but had to be home early..it was great to see you and have a nice chat..hope to see you all next year (can’t go in September)..ps finally got my sliding door sorted (cheers Razzy) and thanks Neil for the tip with the trim..ps I just love driving my bus
I lost a wheel centre cap on the way. Told @mikedjames, and he's printed me one. The red one is just a test for size at the moment, and then he's going to print me four in black. Cheers Mike Sent from my SM-G981B using Tapatalk
Got home after a lovely sunny drive(apart from hitting a pothole at the bottom of the A5 which meant crossing my fingers the rest of the journey!) Great to meet up with you all, faces old and new, as always it really was a great weekend. Especially with the added bonus of some fine weather
