Chuggs - now close to paint and need to cut the holes for the windows some ok metal but most new. Also sliding door needs a cut. So tried a grinder which is way too all over and settled on a jigsaw and some metal cutting blades that cut like treacle and leave a nice edge. I have no reference points as new metal but I have learned; - Door metal above window is 28mm (+5mm door gap to roof gutter) - Is this the reference point for all the windows? - Metal in old sliding door is 28mm top and 15mm at the bottom? I think this is too big a gap as the seals are 5mm in the middle bit between the class (10mm on a run and 387mm glass width) This means that I can make the bottom 18mm which considering the seal (20mm wide 5mm center so 7.5mm overlap on panel and window) should give me 10.5mm of panel under the seal at the bottom and 20.5mm at the top? Does that seem right? Will go searching for "how to" threads but last question is where does the seal gap go - was at the bottom in the middle? -
Do you mean where does the join of the two ends go?if so yes at the bottom.mine is a panel van conversion,it was a Viking spacemaker but I’ve since changed the roof Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
