Do they leak like @scrooge95 ’s filler neck?
I didn't realise that @scrooge95 had a leaky neck. Get well soon.
I did some searches as I am pretty sure somebody in Southampton hoarded petrol in a wheelie bin that caught fire during the picketing of fuel depots in the recent past.
And I did turn up some pictures of Americans succeeding in filling up large plastic bags with petrol. .
Dammit that's all I need, a blinkin' fuel shortage when I've just left half a tankful all over the New Forest!
Blame all the self employed , freelance lorry drivers that claimed the corona virus interruption loans and buggered off back to eastern Europe with no intention of paying it back ..ever
Its in the Daily Fail ... must be true
It’s at time like this I say thank heavens for our fleet of old vehicles
ps @CollyP if only I had put petrol in my wheelie bin prior to balancing on it there’s a possibility it may not have tipped over due to the added weight thanks for the idea for next time
More like as you say panic buying ..older drivers retiring ..snowflake generation don't like long hours and nights out .
Polish drivers are on better money in Poland as they were getting short of drivers plus they fear not getting back to there family's due to Covid ...the words from a local haulier . Not necessarily Brexit, and BBC media Hype love to create panic and Anxiety . It would be interesting to know how many people have topped themselves through there chronic perpetual ranting misery .
They just love it, don't they?
They learnt fast from all the UK self employed, sole trader ltd co's, small businesses that claimed the corona virus interruption loans and fictitious furlough payments for 'employees' (brothers/sisters/sons/daughters/ the bloke down the pub) with no intention of paying it back ..ever
I wouldn't say that not wanting to do long hours and nights out living in the cab of a lorry makes you a snowflake.....it just means our generation are/were stupid enough to do it.
Apparently, the local Waitrose have had to stop delivering organic tofu due to lack of fuel!
Could you run a diesel on balsamic vinegar ?
Olive oil, yes. Vinegar no. That's your dressing done for either way.
Dont bother putting it in the Bin, I tried it, bloody bin men too it !!!
We've been told by the council that are going to charge £40 a year extra to empty green bins ,
I’ve been storing it for months, in plastic drink and washing up bottles, in the wardrobe of our spare room.
May I help?
If that's your household stuff (colours mean different things in different counties apparently) I'd withhold that 40 quid from your council tax payments.
I’ll have 40,000 litres please. Can you deliver tomorrow?
