  1. As Im feeling needy then if Ady decides he doesnt need them then let me know Para. Beed thinking about this and Id like to move away from curtains I think. Should have thought better of it in the first place really shouldnt I. Ah well. I actually like the poppered blinds tbh!

  2. I'm going to get them next week. But if i ever move them on i will bear you in mind @Dicky

  3. Not a problem my friend! If you cahanges your mind then let me know.

  4. Picked up the curtains tonight. Thanks @paradox , much appreciated. Also thanks for the advice and ideas.

I might go with something similar on the table top, if you don't mind me stealing the idea. Also think the stove makes more sense.

  5. It was a pleasure to meet you dude and its always nice to chat campers face to face with another owner:thumbsup:

  7. Because i have a devon louverd window with the handles in the middle when the window is open i cant lift the kitchen unit lid up properly as the handles get in the way

So my kitchen unit lid will lift off completely and become my table top
This saves me having to carry and stow an extra table
Im also going to buy a tripod base so the table can be used outside the van

My cooker is a two burner hob with grill instead of a fitted smev style cooker
Because its not fitted i can remove the cooker whilst leaving the unit in the van
The cooker can then be used on the table outside with the gas bottle sat on the floor

Not carrying extra cookers gas bottles and tables saves me weight and space:)

  8. Like your thinking. Are you having cooker permanently connected to bottle of have you found a method of plugging it in. I want to do something similar

  9. I will have two quick disconnects coming off the regulator that are self closing
One will go to the cooker and one will go to the heater
That way i can pull the bottle from the heater and take it and the cooker outside

  10. I'm going to start looking for a cooker like the one you showed m @paradox
Who was it made by? Are there new equivalents?

  11. I found some gas rated quick release fittings like on air lines. They're great :)

  12. Where?

  13. seems were all after the same outcom. Im tepmted (if i can get the quick release self sealing connections) to have one on the outside. unsure whether next to slider or at the back is best. Awning goes on the side but when weather is nice its good to cook at the back! decisions eh - need to find the fittings yet!

  16. been looking to, Was hoping to find a bracket mounted one rather than a trailing connection or a flappy caravan thing. If I dont find one I will use an isolation valve with hose tail, short length of hose and a female and then plug in to that.

do you mean this sort of thing? I may incorporate this into the gas mods we're doing. Would this work?
