Fuse box upgrade

Cant search for this topic on my pile of poo phone,but has anyone upgraded their fuse box from conti fuses to blades? Is it worth the effort in terms of replacing a 30 off year old fuse box or not worth the hassle?

 

i personally wouldnt bother. its easy to get the BUSS type fuses.

I used this for my leisure battery. Cant be too difficult to use for what you want but if its lasted 30yrs and the fuses are a doddle to find, i'd agree with pkrboo.

 

There's little point. It works well enough.

 

why have you got problems its a lot of work to re wire the fuse box

 

I did the same to my old stag, but i did have problems with poor connections and the general state on the bakerlite fuse box, it was well worth doing but time consuming, but as the others have said unless the original fuse box is causing you problems i wouldn't bother

 

easier to spot a blown fuse on the old ones without pulling them
