Not a question but a recommendation. Tonight at 22;40 on the Beeb, they are broadcasting the Dimbleby Lecture and Gareth Southgate is talking about the challenges facing young men today and his thoughts how to address them in society. It's on iPlayer already and it is well worth watching imo. He speaks very well, I was impressed. There are obvious lessons from his life as a footballer and manger, but it goes far beyond that.

Why dont you see the little white waxy flowers on privet hedges anymore

 

Why can't you ever get tablets back in their box if the instructions sheet is still in there?

 

Deliberate design. First step is the always throw the instructions away.

 

Another trick is to make the aluminium backing so thick you can't get the pills out without using a hydraulic press.
