Heating the rear!!

  1. I saw a van recently which had heating in the rear of the campervan, which can be left on overnight in order to have a decent sleep!
It was pretty much the same as a switch which you would see in a house to turn the temperature up. Unfortunately I don't know the technicals behind fitting this, but would like to know as it's a must!!!

Does anyone know the cost/ practicality of fitting these heating systems??

  2. propex. About £500 + fitting
    :)

  3. Ouch... Is that the only option?

  4. 430 from just kampers i got mine for. and still about another 50 quid for the extra bits to fit it, was toasty warm at dub freeze.

you might pick one up off ebay second hand a bit cheaper or a eberspacher diesel,

  5. I might have to have a look at the setup if possible, it's definitely something I'd like to have.
What events can I catch you guys at? I am based in cardiff.
    Thanks

  6. Presumably being gas I wouldn't be able to use it when the vehicle is in motion....and my heater is hot to pieces.... Any recommendations for additional heating while driving too??

    Thanks again guys

  8. it draws air in from outside and emits exhaust out too.

  10. I might have to come and have a look if u don't mind... Would be a result if I could use the heater for both driving & night!

Carry blankets. I've found them rather useful :) but I'm now going to go the Propex route. They really are good.
