Many thanks for letting me join. I don't yet have a bay but looking for one up to 76 possibly 78. I'm interested in picking up tips and information as I go and certainly not interested in negative views grumpiness or politics. So I'm here really to learn and understand the t2 bay and get to know you. I'm quite happy with the welder and car restoration and sounds like most need this. Currently mostly the way through a restoration of a pre war car where I've had to make my own panels/ wings etc. And no its not my day job I've learnt the hard way over 15 years of restoration on it. But that is another story
Morning, we’ve got a 1926 Sunbeam, 1932 Alvis and 1930 Austin Seven Ulster in the family so let’s see what you’ve got?
Poptop2 It's a 1927 Humber Pictures of before and now all done by myself other than chrome and engine machine work
Welcome to the madhouse. Looks like you've got a rusty metal fetish too, so you'll feel at home on here!
This may help a little https://thelatebay.com/index.php?threads/buying-a-bus-vw-type-2a-and-2b-novice-guide.55487/
Welcome from a rain soaked Notts. Good luck on your search for a bus, looking at your Humber you have some good skills!
Welcome from France and a fellow MGB owner. It’s easy enough to ignore the negative views, grumpiness and politics.
Faust, Dont mind a bit of work just just don't want a full blown restoration so would be happy with something in between if you follow. Ideally I'd like to find something with the platform bed up top rather than bunks.
Hello and welcome The Humber looks beautiful; impressive skills there... I'm sure a late bay won't trouble you too much in that respect!
The Sunbeam came as 3 crates of bits in 1981, it’s my father in law’s, we got it on the road and to the LeMans 24hr in 1985 and several times since! I love driving the vintage cars.
