After making a fold up shelf to attach to the side of my cooker Any idea where I can get one of these or even what they are called Thanks
Hopefully Roger, the owner of die schnecke bus will see this post. He has got one for his van, I'm sure it's not a Westy part, more like a devon bracket. If he doesn't see this, PM him.
i have one fitted to my late bay...its an ear;y bay part. i just happened to find one at a vw show. im sure you could make one. i made the hinges myself and did a mod on my bus.. not sure where you could buy one, rcc import or vw relics or fbivw..someone will have one...mail me if you want dimentions
this is my set up, THE PART IS AN ORIGIONAL WESTFALIA PART prototype bay i did it to give more working area, its the spice rack table i picked up at a show somewhere, i also picked up the triangle somewhere too. i fitted it to my unit with some small hinges i got from b&q, the hinges for the triangle are from there too, i cut them to pieces to get the desired effect the plastic pad keeps it level with screws either side to stop the triangle moving and the table collapsing. why not make one, I MADE ONE TODAY as a trial, all you need is some steel bar from b&q, a tape a pencil a file and some common sence. file a groove where you want to bend it. not too deep. hey presto,EASY JOB TO DO might take a few goes to get it right but you got one for a few quids not rip off quids close up of my cut to pieces hinge to make it look origional.
I like it when people go and get the bits and make things like this themselves instead of paying massive prices for originals More of it i say
I would be interested, to see some pictures, showing the interior sections of the refrigerator and cutlery drawer above it. Regards. Nigel A. Skeet
if i remember i will take some pics while away on winter camp this weekend...IF i remember.. what exactly do you want to see
