I have to replace the glass lid on our sink / hob unit, the hinge is fixed through a hole in the glass and it seems it originally had a sealant / gasket glue / sticky tape to help hold it tight and relieve the pressure on the glass, any recommendations on what to use?
I have just tried a foam type double sided tape (I was unsure if there was space) and it seems to be ok - fingers crossed.
