Thanks 72wilma, we made Blackberry Vodka and Elderberry rum this year from these recipes along with Sloe Gin and had a first tasting , mmmmmm Loverly, ready for the Christmas.

 

i have 5 gallons of blackberry and elderberry red wine,
to bottle for xmas...should be a good lunch for 12 of us...

 

We'll be bottling up last year's elderberry rum this week, glad your like it. It's an aquired taste. It becomes stronger as it gets older. If you can, hold some back for next year, the flavours become more intense.

 

Two years on here and only just seen this thread .....my life was truly not completed ! x
