  3. Downer mate, How far were you thingking of going? you could always borrow our bay. insurance might be an issue though.

  4. Cheers pal, won't take you up though ;) No offence intended. It's goin to our pal who knows his stuff, it'll be sorted.

We were goin up to Blackpool Breeze, there's a good band on on the Sat eve. We're still goin... Just tryin to decide what with/in

  5. what'you trying to say about my bay? Maybe its just not yellow enough?

Hope you get it sorted, maybe its just not recovered after the powder extinguisher incident. Have a top time.

  6. Probably a good thing that you dont borrow ours as i am in the middle of fitting the fuel pressure regulator. Not ready to pipe it up yet though. got to regulate the pressure to the carbs as the pump is oveer fuelling them runs well but uses a bit more fuel than it should.

met a guy at a VW show based in Norfolk who makes looms. Just still trying to remember the name of his company. I am pretty sure he charges £250 for a full loom.

    memory back... Volks Goods

Did you dry powder the fusebox? It's V corrosive apparently...
I have a fusebox for sale on my for sale thread...

  9. Not directly Zed, but the dash lights caught a few yrs back and I ended up firing the powder up into it (blowing didn't suffice!).

Despite hoovering it repeatedly, over the last year, still kept finding powder residue on mats, under dash shelf etc. Every time I hit a bump more seemed to drop out...

I'll think long and hard before using one in such a condition again...
