My indicators have thrown a wobbly , if i indicate in any direction all four indicators come on like hazards , whats up guys n gals ?. i'm guessing earth problem but don't know where to start , help please .
if you have a spare avilable swap it and see. its a good thing to have a spare as most issues are either eartihg to the rears or the relay
May be a faulty flasher relay, I had this problem to except mine wouldn't work at all, I could hear the relay making some sort of noise but not the usual clicking sound, went to Halfrauds, got a new one swapped it out, job done
This is the state of play -- fitted new relay unit , still the same , took stalk apart , wiring looks good ??? gonna try tracing the wiring from the stalk to the lights next , any idea of usual places etc ?.
Sorted this , just in case anone else has a similar problem this is how - I asked a mechanic mate what could be wrong , he said take the hazard switch off its the only thing that connects all four indicators so it must be faulty ( i had checked the stalk ) , he was right there were two contacts touching on the hazard switch , sorted , thanks for your help , guys
