  1. Hi all, spoke to someone on here (can't remember who it was though ) regarding the fitting of a jaguar rear seat in the front of a bay. Just wondering if anyone may have any ideas on either who this might have been (might have been pre late bay meltdown) or if anyone has fitted one their selfs or even if you could give help and guidance of trying to fit....
    Cheers, Karl.

  2. Not sure but it would look mint when its done just a little bit of fabrication work should be easy to do

  3. Oh, show me! Show me! Over here Jag's are high end expensive, would look "fitting" in Van.

  4. I have to say, iv just 'slung' it in the bus to see how it looks, and it will look the b*llo**s once it's fitted properly. I'll put pics up when I get chance.

  7. Nice stuff what about seat belts ??

  8. any pics or tips on how you fitted the seat please also what about seatbelts?

  9. Is this ok with new mot rules

  10. Looks the dogs danglys although what about adjustment?

  11. Thanks for the comments dudes. So as for adjustment, none! It's set up in a very comfortable position for both me and my wife so happy days, plus it sits a lot lower than my previous (Saab) seats.
Is it ok with new mot rules? Can't see why not as it's very securely fitted with a total of 12 fixing points, 4 under the middle in the walk through area, 1 fixing on each corner of the seat base and 4 flat bars welded on to the original metal seat backs of the bus so the back rest slides down on to 2 of these (as per original jaguar fitmant) and the other 2 use original fixings on the back of the jag seat near the arm rest. IT'S SOLID!!!
As for seat belts I'm going to use all the original fixing points in the bus and the normal seat belts I had in before. There is enough room for me to get the 'clunk clip' part of the seat belt through between the seats. All the brackets I used were fabricated from spare seat belt anchor brackets that you get spare when you buy new seat belts. I'll try get some pics up of the brackets when I get 5 mins.

  12. Just re read the new mot rule and regarding front seat, if it is supposed to move ie forwards and backwards for adjustment then it must do so. As mine is fixed securely and permanent it will be ok.

  13. finally a bus where you can shag in the front too
    :)
