Might be a bit of a no-brainer question but thought I’d ask anyway. Those that have lumenition timing, is this a decent place to secure the module?
Apart from that being the inside of the wheel tub so the back side of the fixings are a way to let wet in to the metal. If you can get it on the lip of that piece where it obviously isnt going through to the outside, it would be ok. Alternatively, use short( 10mm ) screws or rivnuts on the firewall, wrap tape just past the tip of the drill bit, so overenthusiasm is curbed, the fuel tank is some way behind it.
ok now I'm thinking just move it up a bit and go through the side of the spare wheel well. Will stick it there and see how the cabvles reach... Edit: in fact moving my leisure battery earth tab up a bit does leave room to drill into the lip... good spot Mike...
