After 9 countries and 23,000 km covered since June 1st 2023 we are taking a couple of days in Paris in a hotel ( shhh don’t tell Billy bus)
We are amazed at how well our bus has endured 40 degree heat, hills, winds, 6 hr drives, dirt tracks and so much more.
In red is our route taken since June 1st 2023 ( dotted lines are a couple of planes we took to visit some family during our road trip ) green lines is our trip last year May - November 2022
In total we are just short of 45,000 km since May 2022
Nearly back to UK for a rest for Billy bus and some servicing ( mainly carb to be fully cleaned, replace steering box with the n2 engineering one ordered, new cv boots, brake overhaul, horn ring, new fuel filter ( might move this as right behind starter motor and really hard to get to without a ramp) A6F351AF-0E9A-4E0A-A904-87C43874907F.jpeg

That looks like a dream adventure. Glad the van has behaved. As for your daughter - bet she loved the adventure.

    Don't stop!!!

This van will not be sold as a real gem - been very reliable and my daughter treats it like one of the family!
Next adventure is Scotland nc500 next spring but I think my wife might like a few cabins etc to sleep in too with cosy fire places and then summer Greek islands if we can get enough time off work and I can sell the dream enough :)
I have learnt a lot on this trip and met the greatest of people along the way who have showed us kindness, friendship and much more

I think Scotland might be one destination next year, but also thinking France or even Norway. Managed 32 days in one go this year and hopefully the project will be more comfortable to sleep in.
