Arrived in Barcelona and after disembarking from a very chaotic car deck drove to Sitges and set up camp. Noticed lost somewhere in transit my headlamp trim and eyebrow but now I wink at Spain until I get some Botox done
Are you camping at Sitges? We couldn’t get in there once driving through so parked up on the beach road a bit out of town
We came off ferry and little one was tired so tried a few places and all booked out but got to Sitges and were welcomed in a nice campsite so decided to park up for a few nights and take it easy. Spent my day checking oil levels on my dodgy steering box, fixing a bike puncture and then taking a bus to Barcelona center.
Yep most prolific pickpockets I've seen anywhere!! 23 of us went on a boozy lads weekend a few years ago. We only had hand luggage so decided to have a few beers along La Ramblas on the way to the hotel. 3 hours later, 8 passports and 3 wallets had gone!! Luckily, I was ok but 8 of the unlucky ones spent hours filing reports and trying to get temporary passports to get home!
So I tried a Dutch based company Paruzzi for some parts whilst traveling in Spain and have to say pretty prompt - sent out same day as I placed order and I could actually talk to them on the phone without difficultly. Arrived at a ups pickup point within 3 days with full tracking from ups and alerts / notifications. My front light trims now back in place with some new stainless rims and I did my back lenses and number plate light seal whilst I was at it. So a little nod to paruzzi who carry a comprehensive list of vw parts and now Billy bus is not missing half an eye!
