Well, the door is almost done. Finally welded back up, filled and a couple of coats of primer layed down, its taken a while but we have got there! Door skin on and spot welded: Window Frame welded back on: Filled and flatted back: Couple of coats of high build primer: Next job may well involve some colour
Thanks Neil there are a few bits of overflowing filler to rub down on the edges, aside to that its turned out pretty good!
Looks spot on mate. I'm still faffing along with ours. Lots of repairs to the inner frame. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
And we have colour All we need is a wet coat now followed by clear coat and that's the door finished!
Really loving the patience and attention to detail that's going into this. That workmanship would cost a fortune if done to that standard. Keep up the good work.
Cool cheers. Painting mine in 3 weeks in celullose too but hadn't realised you could lacquer over the top. Is that celullose too? Does that get round the problem of having to cut celullose every so often to bring the shine and depth back?
I think its cellulose laquer, ill check next Monday. Its supposed to keep the shine and save cutting it etc, it also stops the paint chipping as well, makes the surface a bit harder.
