I'm thinking of putting something on the doors but without a telephone number.... I have enough work Sent from my SM-G981B using Tapatalk
Nope steel mate your not supposed to weld galvanised. Although the hold down brackets I made are galvanised and I did weld a nut onto them. Sent from my SM-G981B using Tapatalk
Yes, I remember the old heavy gauge galvanised steel conduit had a very durable galv finish, but these days conduit seems to be made of cheese, with a light galv dip that peels off when you cut a thread on it. I'm sure what you've used will be fine provided you've got plenty of support feet and aren't planning to put one of those daft roof tents up top.
I painted the sign writing on the doors. A nod to my dad, whom I worked with for many years until he passed away in 2013 the phone number is my mum & dad's from the 70's. Sent from my SM-G981B using Tapatalk
Wot no gold leaf Back in the day, my grandfather used to signwrite the vans for the Mid Kent Water Company. Bottle green vans, cream lettering with real gold leaf.
