Spent three night at Masons Campsite in Appletreewick and what a superb site it is. Set in stunning surroundings alongside the River Wharfe, facilities always nice and clean, hot showers, coffee bar and small shop on site. Really nice bunch of people camping / friendly atmosphere. I'll recommend Masons and would go again without a doubt. https://www.masonscampsite.co.uk/ As a plus, The Craven Arms is five minutes walk away for very nice food and really good, locally brewed beers. I'll not post pics of the campsite as a, I didn't take any only ones looking at the surroundings and b, they are some on the link to Masons website
Do you have to join the Masonic Lodge to stay there? Any funny handshakes or goat riding involved? Asking for a friend from down sarf.
Upper Wharfedale. Perfect when the weather is good and a good excuse to visit the cruck barn when it isn't. Was there any Ferret racing on?
The Cruck Barn was superb, Michelle got a guided tour by one of the barstaff, they also did the lightbulb trick We'd just missed Ferret racing, looked great fun !
Do you know what I think when I look at all your travelling photos?? GET ON WITH SOME BLOODY WORK!! Only kidding (and jealous)
We paid £24 per night for a 6m pitch with hookup (dog / awning in at that) plus we got an over 50 discount. I would gladly go their again, the site was spot on
