  1. have plans to take the bay off the road for the winter and strip the underside of underseal and paint it so its as shiney as the top......with that in mind bought this very low mileage mk2 golf as a runaround

I bet that will get all your money and time and the bay will sit there all summer until a month before your first outing.

  3. lol...you're so right, I've already decided it needs to look like this.

  8. great looking mk2 golf there they make a ace dailys im sure you will love it and not want to get rid! i've got a 1991 royal blue 3 door gti with a 1.9tdi fitted and loads of other mods i drive it every day and i still love driving it even after 5 years and before that for 3 years i had a 1990 3door gti with a 1.9 td fitted so i've been driving mk2s everyday for the last 8 years :D you cant beat a mk2 the best golf ever made in my opinion more solid and sure footed than a mk1 and less electric problems and rot than mk3s & mk4's. The mk2's were built when the german car industry was top of its game after the berlin wall fell it was all down hill  if your going for g60 rims try the dealers first for a price last time i bought any they were £36 each seen second hand ones sell for more on ebay ??? coilovers can easily spoil a car unless they are expensive ones (Omore than you paid for car) try to get a set of konis and good quality springs ride will still be good but nice and low

  11. thought you car was black in the photo! helious blue is rare on a late car, when i was looking for my current mk2 i was looking for a royal blue car for ages and i couldnt find a nice one, i went to look at mine which was advertised as helious blue when i turned up it royal blue :D i went for royal blue as it's a great colour that looks blue/green/gold in the sun (when i clean it ;D) 210bhp is good for a 150motor still with a ko3 turbo :)
