That's quite small for a money-pit. Not sure it qualifies :)

  8. Thanks for the comments, carbs an old school 30mm Delorto on the left side on a stage 4 barrel, trying to keep it as 80s as poss. The cut out on the right side was for the rear set brakes it had at the time.
Hoping to have it running in the next week or so and hopefully on the road by the summer.
Havent ridden one since I sold my TV200 30 years ago, should be fun :))

  11. I like, I like. Has anyone ever found away to take those on our buses, so we could check the camp grounds out without walking to much?

  12. Broomers, thats a sweet looking series 2 8)
As far as transporting them goes I would imagine if the bus is a walkthrough with an empty cargo bay you could get them in no prob but a trailer is your best bet ( unless you have a pickup ofcourse)
I have a trailer which im going to strip down and rebuild in the style of a step side pickup with a rail down the centre, it will be painted in the same Alpine white as the bus and the frame of the scoot. Thats the plan anyway ::)
I did see somewhere a trailer made from the back of an old beetle carrying a Lambretta and I know of a slammed splitty pickup which has 2 lammys permanantly on the back.

  13. Hi all,

Trailer planned for my restored 1967 Li150 Series II, taking her to Volksworld this year.

Seems to be a big crossover from scooter/mod scene and Vdub one !

  14. Have seen a Spiltscreen Crew cab with an LD150 on the back all sprayed in matching colours think it was featured in Scootering and one of the VW mags. Think there always been a bit of a link between the VW and Scootering scene I know several people who still have or have had various scooters and Dubs before.
