month of manufacture

    Hi im importing a westy weekender from california . its at the dock now .can i get the month of manufacture through the vin . its a 73 . but could be aug. 72 .

    get it off the m-plate, or send off for the birth certificate from vw off the vin.

    Tell me the first 3 digits from the bottom row and the chassis number and I'll work out the actual day and month. Can't work out the actual hour but somewhere between 8am and 18:00 might sound realistic :)
