Hi gang ^-^ I have a nasty habit of catching things on my garage doorway including the two mushroom vents on my poppy uppy top. It`s a late Devon one with the two vents towards the rear. Any body got any ideas as to replacements ??? Possibly lower ??? Bus is a bit lowered anyhow just to get in and out and I`ve had a few ideas like try not forgetting to shove the door up that vital extra inch but it`s when it`s raining I rush a bit,,,,,,,, then kerrrrunchy. Well they`re completely gone now so where do I get replacements ??? Or can you get lowered ones ??? Thought they might look cool with some old world war 2 German helmets over them as sort of protection, any ideas ?? good , bad or ridiculous would all be appreciated ^-^ Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, P taking accepted gratefully ^-^ ^-^
There is a place that sells them...but I've forgotten what it's called. Someone will tell you. Same place that sells new Devon roof canvases. Bad news is you'll have to cut the holes in the roof a bit bigger. No big deal. Good news is that the newies clamp the roof panel, which the oldies never did. Or...get down to a boat chandlers...the vents are used on boats as well.
Thanking you Senor Snotty,,, hadn`t thought about a chandler to be fair . I`ll keep lookin but made for measure repros are a `not f in likely' by the sounds of it. I may even go back to the idea of the German helmets,,,,,, maybe plastic ones from a fancy dress outlet, might look engaging or something Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Many thanks again
