My 78 Tiaga Green Westfalia

Heres my bus as its arrived from the Usa

 

After digging i found a few jobs needing to be done


battery tray
left and right inner arch
surface rust under windscreen
some old paint redoing where it had a blow over on the sliding door
new rear bumper
big dent in the lhs corner where rear bumper was dinged
new window rubbers
new pop top canvas and seals

work starts, i forgot the major job, rebuild the engine

All done, just need to refit the poptop seals, overider and new seatbelts

 

Cheers Mark, taken a lot of time to get it sorted, still got to fit my belts, as we go for an overnighter tommorow, thats if ny reg turns up, bloody DVLA, we put the application in a week ago last tuesday

Cracking job on the Westy, I love that colour, I used to have one. Keep those pics coming 8)

 

Few more jobs done today, bought Brandon a new carseat, as he was 4 yesterday, so moved onto a bigger seat


fitted a rear retractable for the car seat, plus 2 retractables up front

 

repro westy stool fotted, have to get the front seats retrimmed next to smaten up the cab area, in matching repro westy plaid

 

Very nice camper
What did you do with the over riders?

 

First trip out in the bus, to a local Club BBQ
