  1. K+ for that mate. It looks good.

I cant cut 2 bits of wood the same length. Metal now thats a different story. Wood is voodoo man. :hippy:

  2. Thanks Guys. I made the template myself but it is based on a design I saw on the internet somewhere. The combi unit is coming on now. Just need to put the doors on and varnish it. Will post some more piccies when I get a chance. :-D

  3. Managed to get it finished last night and into the van.

  4. That looks great fella, K + for the fantastic work! Don't know if I believe that you've never done any wood work before lol! Well done, you should be really pleased with how it's turned out!

  5. Looks good!

Presumably the rear end of the cabinet is curved for knee room and to accept the seat base as part of the bed when extended? Personally, I'd have looked into rounding off that sharp corner so that the passenger sat on the far right of the rear seat doesn't hurt themselves on it, but that's a very minor thing.

    Good work!

  6. Thanks for the comments guys.

Was just wondering if anyone was willing to tell me the dimensions of the Westy overhead locker. Our van has a Devon roof but we are looking to replace it with a Westy style roof and this doesn't have the curved roof profile. I have seen pictures but just needed a guide on dimensions. Thanks in advance.
