Hi, anyone got any ideas? I have a 1700 automatic Devon. Engine needs loads spending on it but not sure it's worth it. I am looking for somebody who can sell me an engine to replace my type 4 lump without exchanging the original unit as its all in bits. Need help?!?!
everyone who sells exchange engines will sell you an engine, you just won't get the surcharge refunded as you won't be sending an old unit back (typically about £350-400 on a type 4 engine)
£400 to slap it back together? No brainer, but If it's really knackered I expect they would barter the surcharge anyway. Depends what's what. Try Joker?
