So, on our way back from the TLB Summer camp, I decided to split the journey home, I actually dropped a bollock as I meant to book into a site in Ilfracombe, and it was only when we I took the road towards Minehead that I got the wofe to check the site details and realised we were actually booked in to this one..........alas another blonde moment of mine......so, we arrived at the site, wife popped into reception and we were told a warden would direct us to our pitch, we paid £53 for 2 nights for 2 adults, 2 kids and a puddie dog, we had our camper (obviously) with an awning and a 3m square gazebo.

The pitch was hard standing with electric hook up, ample size and a decent size bit of grass too, we just so happened to be next to the biggest US motorhome money can buy so it looked quite comical, a bit of David and Goliath

The site itself has a fantastic childrens play area, 3 fishing lakes and an off site club house (1/2 mile away) this I found annoying as it does not explain on the site that its so far away. That said, we did not go there to spend time indoors anyway so no great shakes to us.
The showers and toilet blocks were brilliant, extremely clean and on every occasion when I went in the blokes one, it was being cleaned, even at 11pm ! showers cost 50p a pop and we had enough time for me and the lad to both get a shower, and by christ did we need one after TLB weekend ;D There are also quite a few blocks on the whole site, with one for each field / area.
The site was about 1 mile from the leisure (complex) ? not really a complex, but that's as best as I can describe it as it's not just a fair, there is also a water park and a market on certain days.
It's £20 for an unlimited ride wrist band, and I have to say, this is awesome value for money, my son went on the biggest ride 5 times, and never had to queue for more than 5 mins, our kids easily had their value for the money, and you can also buy tokens should you not want to spend the whole £20, the tokens are 50p a pop and most rides are in between 4 and 6 tokens a go, so clearly the wrist band is the better option.
Food both in the leisure park and in the town is very reasonable, we had a decent sit down meal for 4 for £16 at a place that allows dogs in ;D
Overall I score this 7/10 - it would be an 8 if the club house was on site
