Back in March of this year, I had an accident, where I stood on a rotten pallet. My foot went through, and unfortunately semi broke my fifth metatarsal and part tore a ligament. This caused me to have to compensate on walking on the other foot more, which in turn put more pressure on the knee of my right leg. This gave me a bursitis of the pre petella bursa fluid sac. So I had to have a steroid injection to help fix that. I had pain relief within around 15 minutes which was great, but due to overuse and over compensating on the now ok leg, I had another bursa sac inflammation on the other knee. Fortunately, this seemed to right itself just by gentle exercise. And now, after 2 and a half moths recovery, everything is back to normal, thankfully. And yes. I know someone moaned about using similar thread titles before, but how you you miss an opportunity like ‘Pyrenees…
I’ve had bursitis too! First time I thought I’d knelt on a screw. Couldn’t see it, later in the afternoon thought I’d done it again. Still no screw. Flipping hurt but medication sorted it. Plus trying not to kneel at work! I feel your pain brother!
