I want to block off the preheat pipe hole in the tinware as it seems to be redundant with the twin FRDs. Is there a neat way of filling this hole without taking the tinware off, welding it up and repainting it? I see from a quick search of the the forum that @snotty used an aluminium plate. Any other suggestions ? Any pictures?
I covered my heat exchanger output holes with aluminium foil folded over to make it thick and then clamped with a jubilee clip. Looked tidy enough. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 using Tapatalk
I did, Sir. Clipped a plate out of ally with a tab on one side so it can attach to one of the tinware screws. Works fine.
