  1. i have a leaky push rod tube seal, my fault as i had the head off last year and i can't of seated the new seal right

    do i now

1/ remove engine and head replace seals and start again
2/leave engine in place, loosen head and hope i can wiggle the seal back in place
3/leave engine in place and fit a adjustable push road and leave everything else alone
4/do something your going to suggest i hadn't thought of

  7. you still got to undo everything to get the tube out to put the adjustable
one in havent you and seal

  8. hopefully just rockers off, push rod out and lower tin

Just to be different, I'd take it out, take it apart and fit a standard tube and the Elring white seals - if you fitted the orange ones, I'd definitely do this and do the other head while it's out.

  12. no all the seals fitted are the white ones

  16. I've got some jaycee red ones here in our 'crusty corner' 7 to be precise as we had a set and one was faulty so we split them to sell seperately
they are a tenner each give us a call and we can sort you one or more out :)
