Recession TV programmes?

  1. thats what we call them...as there are loads at the moment ...cheap to make.....chuck a celeb out in a [usually

interesting] vehicle ...with a camera and soundman and get them to drive around the country...sightseeing, or

cooking or doing weird challenges......ie..Caroline Quinton in Cornwall.........Ade[Edmonson] in Britain.....Paddy and

Rory around England, Victor Meldrew doing 'Drives around Britain' Jo Brand .....and loads more I've forgotten

    Love em or hate em?

I must admit I love them all especially if they are in a bay or a split... I like the sightseeing and imagining

    camping in these places

Depending on the celeb/presenter I quite like them.

The Hungry Sailors I quite enjoy but Dick and James kind of spoil it - it's not what they are good at.

I enjoy seeing them go to places I have already been.

  4. Watched at Hotel one on Sunday that was quite amusing ,about some hotel in torquey and its guests :)

  5. Does superscrimpers count ?

  6. The missy likes extreme make over home addition and they don't have any recession regards to making that program. They pull down the old house and put up a new one :)

  7. Its the new Wish You Were Here format.

What ever happened to that show?
