  1. Not entirely necessary but removing the rear bumper gives you a bit more room.

  2. Thx for the info Zed

  3. Have you done that job recently Gooders?
Is it just a case of removing cables, pipes, etc. Removing rear bumper, heat exchangers and exhaust, undo engine hanger bolts, rear gearbox mount, gear linkage & then slide the engine backwards, then down & out?

  4. More or less although ours is an auto so a bit easier as just 4 bolts on the drive plate to undo & no clutch plate alignment to worry about.

You won't be able to pull it backwards with the chassis hangers attached to the engine bar, leave them on the chassis.

  6. How do get the engine out with the chassis hangers still attached to the chassis Zed?
Most people seem to remove the engine with the bar still attached to the engine, like in the ohitovabove?
Sorry for the dumb question, but like to prep as much for a job as possible beforehand. Thx.

The two chassis brackets and the bar are separate parts. You will have to lower the bar out of the brackets, but nowhere near as far as lowering the brackets off the chassis.
