    It’s found it’s way indoors, so we’re making progress.
    Me and the tree almost came to blows over its reluctance to stand up straight, but we’ve reached a compromise…. it will refrain from leaning at a jaunty angle, and I will retract my threat to cut it up for firewood.
    The treaty was aided hugely by our local brass band turning up outside the house and playing Silent Night!
    Decorations tomorrow, I’ve had quite enough for today.

    He's asleep, so it'll be a surprise for him later! He was remarkably uninterested last year, so hopefully it will stay that way... he didn't even attack the presents under it!

    Think he was pushing for £1200, but it was a lovely example. I say that, but remember it ruptured a front brake flexi shortly after leaving the show which we clamped up with a pair of mole grips! Limped it back down to mum and dads in Northamptonshire at 85mph down the M6 with no further issues :D
