A proper sparky would have chased out the wall to get the pattress and face plate centred on a vertical cable

 

Not only is a neighbour's sycamore single-handedly scuppering any plans for PV panels, it also generously showers us with seeds for extra weeding fun in the Spring.
This is what greeted me at the top of the ladder to the scaff this morning ... Took five minutes to fill a bucket

How not to start a day.
Driver called me at 6am, to told me the hose that goes from the semi to the tank blewed off.
About 300l of fuel went away. Luckily, safety devices did their job and nothing went away in the environnement.
A big mess to clean and a nice bill to come to vacuum and clean overfilling tanks.

 

I didn’t do the bit on the far right.

I was in a posh pub oop here the other day for lunch - £3.50 a pint for real ales.

 

Currently in a pub in Wembley, £17 for a couple of Peroni's and a Diet Coke was a bit of an "ooww much" moment
