Why do manufacturers of fancy shower mixers always leave the face plate blank?

Have you ever stayed in a fancy hotel without having to endure a few days of making random lever/dial movements, resulting in cold or boiling showers, or getting soaked/blinded by a side-on jet of water from a second or third nozzle?

 

Ah, got it now.

A bit like knowing when and where you should wander about in complimentary towel robes, normal people don't feel comfortable wearing them anywhere other than the hotel room, but fancy people wander all around the hotel wearing them, down for breakfast, down to the pool, through the reception area, sat for coffee in the lobby.

They are shameless, they robe wherever they want to.

 

What about those Dryrobes now there’s a thing ?

Jeez, a sporty version of adult onesies - country, dogs etc.......

Mate, any Premier shop has plenty of locals wandering around in slippers, jimjams and a dressing gowns at all times of the day

I have a vague recollection of parents in Newport being asked not to loiter at the school gates in dressing gowns and slippers.

Perhaps I'm looking down the wrong end of the telescope, that fancy hotel guests are actually copying chav life.....?

I was driving past them, as they were walking up the road. There were about 8 of them…like a Godly Gang. I bet some people would feel intimidated by them.

I used to have a biscuit tin full of those tricks and jokes that I used to buy with my pocket money, then take them to school to ‘try out’ on people. Always a bit of a joker.
Remember the Snappy chewing gum, and the plastic fly in a sugar cube jokes? ( among many others).
