Sitting rotting on driveways

Bit like the Volvo place on the A1 (just north of the blackcat roundabout). Huge number of scrap motors.

 

I have a friend who is a farmer. Every vehicle he has ever owned throughout his entire life is still kicking about the farm! There's an old spitfire (car) that's now mainly a hedge!

 

They are a special breed..

 

I can understand it if you have somewhere to store one or two that are either projects or perhaps have been inherited, especially if you've got a dry barn, but what rationale is there to keeping every vehicle you've ever owned?

 

My friend Darin has 22 Ford Capris.
He likes Capris…

 

Cheaper than removal,

Must be wierd seeing all your old cars at home...

I believe they’re appalling to drive? maybe a good candidate to drop the body onto a better chassis/engine platform

Looks like a campsite, but been sitting for a few years slowly rotting
