  1. Right, so my offside sliding door is awful (its a uk twin slider, so its the right hand side door). and i've finally narrowed it down, im missing a bearing!

The black bearing in the picture is what im lacking, but i dont seem to be able to find one anywhere? Or even a new bracket for a reasonable price.

    £92 is just too much.

So what do i do? Does anyone have one of these bearings, or a bracket?

And do i need to take the door off completely to get this sorted out?

The closest thing i can find to that bearing is this, but its not clear to me if this is the bearing i need?

If anyone can clear this up for me that would be fantastic, thank you.

The JK bearing your showing looks like the one that sits on the middle track. :)

    Not the one you need.

you should be able to pull the bearing out and get just the bearing for around £5

Are you talking about re-useing the outer ring and swapping the middle bearing?

Are you sure that the guide roller in your picture doesn't just sit on without a bearing? Mine does. The one with the black cap has a bearing inside - Doh - maybe it's not a picture of your own?

  13. put up the sizes of the bearing and ill have a look at work

So your roller is wobbling about or fallen off?
There are lots of reasons door won't run smoothly. Usually foulded rollers and crud on the tracks which should be dry and clean so the wheels go round. Another is alfter adjusting rear of door upwards by positioning rear hinge on door, it can ride on the nylon guide so the slot in the guide may need making a few mm's deeper.
Another one is front of door roller, as you pictured, can sag leaving the bracket itself scraping along the lower track, and when that's lifted to cure, the top of the top roller can jam against the top of it's guide.

  16. I was about to buy a used offside bracket off emporium, but then vwed kindly sold me a new one for the same price. The new one came sans bearings/rollers, so you could check emporium and see if they are still listed. He had 2, halfway down the page in bay parts
    :)
