Solex 34 pict 3 carb for refurb

Does anyone have a solex 34 pict 3 i could buy to refurb?

It doesent matter if the throttle spindle bushes are worn as long as they are the nylon ones not the steel ones as ive a set of brass bushes ive bought to replace them

 

I've got the original ones that sat on my T25 2L. engine,, any good ?

 

Id imagine it would be jetted wrong dude my engines a 1600

I have an old 34pict-3. I know nothing about it other than it came with my original resto bus in a box of bits. It has a coded tag on it if it helps (211129031). How can I tell if it has the correct spindle bushes for you?

 

try megabug ..prices start at 60 quid .....he has bits that you may need as well bruv

 

You would need to remove the throttle arm and look into the carb body where the spindle goes

Give me a sec and ill get a you tube vid showing it

have you not tried ebay yet dude?there was a few on vzi last week bruv as well.....also a few progessive webers.....shame other solexs dont work on a 1600cc coz i found loads of other solex,s cheap on ebay .......can you not get the steel bushes out then ?a engineers open pointed compass ,should get em out ......i would give ya my old solex but it knackered beyond belief..your welcome to parts from it tho para mate ....as a buddy present ..its a usa one tho i think

 

Yeah, same as in the video, black nylon bushes. Have a shop around. You know I'm not cheap. :
