Greeted by the owner and introduced to the warden. £16 per night inc. hookup. The blue area are all statics, the green area is for motor homes/caravans inc hookup and the red field is for camping (no hookup). Hardly anyone around, pulled up, plugged in and went for a wander. There are a few pubs serving food, butterfly farm/maze etc canoeing within walking distance. 1 male and 1 female shower for the entire site although there was no queue. Shower facilities very clean and tidy, lots of hot water. Site was clean. Toilets were clean. Noise levels low. Sun was out. Would go again.
Simmons Yat is brilliant. We did a detour to go there when we were in Wales touring. I wasn't sure my bus would make it up the steep hill. Brilliant view though, we'll worth it looking at the bend in the river. Is it the Whye?
